Additional information
Spring term.
Sports biomechanics is a quantitative based study and analysis of athletes and sports' activities in general. It can simply be described as the Physics of Sports. In this subfield of biomechanics the laws of mechanics are applied in order to gain a greater understanding of athletic performance through measurement. The Sports Biomechanics course has been designed to develop your understanding of the theoretical basis of sports biomechanics analysis and to understand the range of traditional areas from which methods and data are recruited for an integrated solution to analysing human motion. Course enables to develop a range of discipline-specific abilities and apply them to selected area of special interest.
