CIPA1115 Physical activity and psychological well-being – personal and professional perspectives (5 cr)
Description
The course focuses on the role of physical activity in individuals’ psychological well-being. In the course, both personal and professional perspectives are considered, and emphasis will be on practical implications.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the students will understand the beneficial effects of physical activity on psychological well-being. As the practical implications are discussed, the students will be able to apply the learned knowledge in both personal and professional contexts.
Additional information
Modes of study: The principles of flipped learning are applied in the course which emphasizes the activity of the students. Studies consist of self-learning (online materials available on Moodle), face-to-face seminars, reflective learning portfolio, and group work. Note that students should attend all the seminars.
