Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to explain the properties of antigens/immunogens and provide a detailed overview of the properties & functions of the molecules, cells, tissues & organs of the immune system. She/he will be able to describe (i) concepts of innate and adaptive immunity, (ii) differences between hypersensitivity and autoimmunity as well as (iii) immunological methods used in the laboratory.
Description of prerequisites
Student should have an understanding of basics in biology.
