Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student will be able to

  • design and conduct small-scale scientific research
  • write scientific text and visualize scientific results
  • recognize the importance of ethical questions and is able to evaluate research in the light of these questions
  • obtain and receive feedback to one's benefit
  • present thesis competently orally and by poster presentation

Method 1

Evaluation criteria:
The successful completion of a Master's thesis requires the student to be able to independently produce a comprehensive scientific written report on the research topic in accordance with the thesis writing guidelines of the department. The assessment will focus on the consistency and coherence of the text, the use of literature, the degree and writing of the thesis, the author's independence and timeliness, and the subject-specific assessment.
