KOGS5300 Web and Usability (2 cr)
Description
The course covers the basic principles of web-design. It is a book exam on two books, one focuses on usability and one on user experience. The themes, principles and concepts of design introduced can be applied in other contexts when aiming to easy-to-use and high-quality user experience.
Learning outcomes
After the course the student will understand the basic design principles of usability and user experience and the most important tools for their research. In addition, the student will gain the central concepts of the topic, some practical heuristics and knowledge of their most common design mistakes and conventions.
