Description
• Effects of physical activity on the body's organisms
• Physical activity's association with weight management and physical fitness
• Physical fitness's association with the body's metabolism
• Associations between physical activity, physical fitness and physical functional- and occupational-capacity, and their influence on occupational productivity and absences through illness
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student is able to:
• describe concepts of physical activity, physical fitness and physical functional- and occupational-capacity in-depth
• describe the effects of physical activity on the body's organisms and association with weight management
• present associations between physical activity, physical fitness and physical functional- and occupational-capacity
• critically read topic-specific literature
• apply their learning to practice
