This course is offered through the Network for Futures. These studies are available for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree students studying in the University of Jyväskylä.

Description
The content and theme of the course varies in each implementation. The course can be carried out as an intensive course, special course or as a summer school. Students can also apply for accreditation of another futures oriented course. The different implementations of the course can have different grading methods, some can be pass-fail and some numeric 1-5.
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize the students for example with current themes, methods and tools of futures research through international academic research. The aim of the course is to deepen the students knowledge on futures research. The learning outcomes are separately defined for each implementation of the course.
Additional information
The prerequisites may vary for each implementation. This course is not recommended as the first futures research course. The course is also available for open-university students, JOO-students or applicants of separate right to study and for students supplementing their studies after graduation.
